What your encoder needs
Any encoder works as long as it can do two things:- Encode at least H.264 in 4:2:0, using the Main or Constrained Baseline profile
- Connect over secure RTMPS with SSL. RTMPS is a common streaming standard and works with most encoders.
The same encoders also feed Review, added as a livestreaming source in a live session. Streaming Classic uses RTMPS; Review accepts RTMPS (HD) and WHIP (Premium). See Where do I find the ingest server URL?.
