Signing in
I cannot sign in
I cannot sign in
Sign-in, passkeys and single sign-on run through Clerk, our identity provider, so an error on that screen comes from Clerk. If a passkey fails on your device, use email and password, and reset the password from the same screen.
My guest confirmation code did not arrive
My guest confirmation code did not arrive
A guest who comments at a share gets a code by email. Check the spam folder and request a new one, about once a minute. Asking too often shows “Too many requests. Please wait.”, and too many wrong codes “Too many attempts. Please wait.”
My session keeps expiring
My session keeps expiring
After inactivity you see “Session expired. You have been logged out.” Set the timeout from 15 minutes to 24 hours under Settings, Security. A warning comes two minutes before the session ends.
Plans and limits
'Activity Log not available'
'Activity Log not available'
The activity log needs a paid plan. You read “Upgrade your plan to view Activity Logs”, or in an organisation “Activity Logs are not available in your organization’s plan. Contact your organization owner.”
I cannot change the plan or payment
I cannot change the plan or payment
A subscription belongs to one user account. Working alone, that is yours. In an organisation it is the owner’s, and only the owner can change plan or payment. See Where do I find my plan and invoices?
A team or organisation limit is reached
A team or organisation limit is reached
You see “Plan limit reached. Please contact the project owner.” or, in an organisation, “Plan limit reached. Please contact your organization owner.” The owner sees the exact overage and can remove seats or upgrade.
Folder passwords
I forgot a folder password
I forgot a folder password
A folder password cannot be recovered. The account owner can reset the default folder password under Settings, Security, which clears it across their projects. Folders with their own password are not covered.
Warning when turning folder protection off
Warning when turning folder protection off
“Protected folders will become accessible without password, including public shares.” The switch skips the password prompt and deletes no password. Turn it on again and every folder asks again.
