A source brings external video into a room, from dfine.io Studio or a hardware encoder. Each active source counts as one participant and uses a room slot.

Open the room

Open Conferencing in the sidebar and pick Manage on the room.

Open Sources

Go to the Sources tab and click Add Source.

Pick the tier

Livestreaming is WHIP, for dfine.io Studio. Livestreaming (RTMPS) is for an encoder that only speaks RTMPS. Bitrates and latency: Technical facts.
