# Sharing and access

> Fixes for share links in Review: expired, deactivated or blocked links, password screens and access limits.

A share link carries its own dates, password and permissions. When a client is stuck, the message names which of them is in the way.

    You may see **"Share Link Expired"**, **"Share Link Not Yet Active"**, or **"Share Deactivated"**. Open **Share Links**, check the link is active and within its dates, and resend it. You can also use **Relink** to point a share at the right folder or file in the same project.

    The share or file was removed or changed. Create a new share, or use **Relink**. If the project was archived you see **"Project Archived"**, so unarchive it first.

  <Accordion title="My client sees a password screen" icon="lock">
    That share or folder is password protected. Send the passphrase, or create a new link without one. A wrong entry shows **"Invalid password"**.

  <Accordion title="'Region Restricted' or 'Location Changed'" icon="globe-lock">
    The share limits which countries may open it, or the visitor moved to a different location during the session. Allow the country on the share, or send a fresh link.

  <Accordion title="'Access Limit Reached' or 'Invite Only'" icon="user-x">
    The share has used up its allowed openings, or it only admits invited email addresses. Raise the limit, invite the address, or create a new link.

  <Accordion title="The share link opens a 'page not found'" icon="hourglass">
    Too many attempts in a short time take the link to the 404 page instead of an error screen. Wait a moment, then open it again.
