        Review lets you upload a file, comment on the exact frame and share it for approval. It also runs live sessions with livestreaming. See [Quickstart Review](/en/review/quickstart).

      <Accordion title="Do the people I invite need an account?">
        No. You send a link and your client reviews in the browser. Only people who manage projects need an account.

        With dfine.io Studio over WHIP, from Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, SDI, a file or the screen. See [dfine.io Studio](/en/apps/studio/index). A hardware encoder streams to an RTMPS source in the room.

    ## Files and sharing

      <Accordion title="Which file types can I upload?">
        Almost any video, image or audio file. MP4, MOV, JPG, PNG and WAV play in the browser. R3D, ARI, PSD, HEIC, camera RAW, PDF and office files are stored for download. The full list is on [File formats and limits](/en/reference/formats-and-limits).

      <Accordion title="How large can a file be?">
        Up to 150 GB per file and 250 files per upload. From 100 MB, a file is sent in parts.

      <Accordion title="What is the difference between Original and Optimized?">
        The original is your file at full quality. The optimised version is a lighter copy for smooth playback. You switch between them in the preview.

      <Accordion title="How much storage do I get?">
        That depends on your plan. The free plan has 250 MB and 25 files. See [Pricing](/en/reference/pricing).

      <Accordion title="How long do share links last?">
        24 hours by default. You can also pick 7 days, a custom date or never.

      <Accordion title="Can I protect single folders?">

        Yes. Open **Settings → Billing** in your personal account, go to the payment portal and cancel. The plan stays active until the period ends. In an organisation, the subscription sits in the owner's account.

        No. Viewers open your access link and watch in the browser. Only people who manage streams need an account.

    ## Streaming

      <Accordion title="What resolutions and codecs are supported?">
        HD up to UHD (4K), with H.264 and VP8 today. AV1 and H.265 are coming.

        Under one second.

      <Accordion title="What bitrates are supported?">
        Up to 20 Mbit/s on ingest, adaptive or constant. Your plan sets the maximum, and a stream well above it is blocked. For good quality, use at least 3500 kbit/s.

      <Accordion title="Why is my stream blocked?">
        The ingest bitrate was well above your plan. Lower it, then unblock and restart the stream in the dashboard. See [The encoder does not connect](/en/troubleshooting/encoder).

      <Accordion title="Can I play the stream to a reference monitor?">
        Yes. Turn on the playout link in the stream slot and play it out with dfine.io Studio. See [Show a session on your reference monitor](/en/workflows/reference-monitor).

      <Accordion title="Are you TISAX certified?">
        We are not certified ourselves, because we do not run the data center. Through our partnership with Google, your streams can run on TISAX-certified servers in Frankfurt as an optional upgrade. You can also run a streaming server on premises.

    ## Security and account

      <Accordion title="Which protocols and encryption do you use?">
        Ingest runs over RTMPS with SSL. Playout runs over WebRTC with SSL and TLS, AES 256 and DTLS.

      <Accordion title="Where is my data stored?">
        In Germany, at Hetzner in Nuremberg. TISAX-assessed servers in Frankfurt or an on-premises server are options.
      </Accordion>

      <Accordion title="How do I turn on two-factor authentication?">
        In your security settings, with an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator.
      </Accordion>

      <Accordion title="Can I pause or cancel my subscription?">
        Cancel in the billing portal before the current period ends. The plan stays active until then. Billing belongs to the account owner.
