# Compatibility

> Browsers for Review and the viewers, the Mac requirements of dfine.io Studio and Download, and the encoders Streaming Classic accepts.

**Browsers.** Review and the viewer pages of Streaming Classic run in the latest Chrome or Safari, on desktop and mobile. Nothing to install.

**Mac apps.** dfine.io Studio needs macOS 13 or newer, dfine.io Download macOS 15 or newer. Both run on Apple Silicon and Intel.

    Almost any video, image, audio or document file uploads and downloads. Whether it also gets a preview depends on its format, its size and, for video, its length. See [File formats and limits](/en/reference/formats-and-limits).

    To stream into a room, use [dfine.io Studio](/en/apps/studio/index) over WHIP. A hardware encoder streams to an RTMPS source in the room.
