Run through this client-side checklist to keep playback quality as high as possible.

    Turn off Night Shift and True Tone on iOS devices, because they shift the displayed colors.

  <Accordion title="Control ambient lighting" icon="sun">
    Control all ambient outdoor light, and make sure sunlight doesn't hit the display.

    We recommend iOS devices such as iPad Pro (2017 or newer) and newer iPhone generations, MacBook or MacBook Pro (2017 or newer), or any display calibrated with at least an X-Rite i1 Display.

    Stream a calibration chart or a black-to-white gradient on the client's monitor to set proper black and brightness levels. Make sure blacks and whites aren't crushed.
