# OBS (Open Broadcaster Software)

> Use the free OBS encoder with the dfine.io profile.

OBS is a free encoder that works well with dfine.io. Before your first stream, install our OBS profile so the encoder settings already match our servers.

  OBS works with **both** dfine.io products that livestream — Streaming Classic and Review. The setup is the same; only where you copy your ingest URL and stream key differs by product. See [Where do I find the ingest server URL?](/en/where-do-i-find-the-ingest-server-url).
